Plot:
The action of the film "Overcoming" takes place in 1919. Soviet Ukraine is burning in the fire of the Civil War. Conspiracies and sabotage, bloody rebellions and terror, all this was used by the counterrevolution to regain its lost positions.
Extraordinary commissions (ChK) were set up to protect the gains of October, becoming the shield and sword of the revolution. Among their ranks was former student Andrei Zakharchuk, who, under the guise of Second Lieutenant Osintsev, was tasked with penetrating into the very lair of the enemy – General Denikin’s headquarters…
