Narrative:
Once upon a time, in a nameless county, an old miller died and bequeathed his inheritance to his three sons. The eldest son got the fattest piece of his father's fortune - the mill, the middle son got a donkey, and the youngest was content with only a cat, which he considered of no use, and was just another mouth to feed.
But the Cat considered this attitude towards himself offensive and decided at all costs to prove to his not very gifted owner that he would not only be a burden to him, but would make a real person out of him.
Having learned that the local King has a beautiful daughter, the Princess, the Cat sets himself an ambitious plan: to marry his master to the princess and thus ensure a comfortable life for himself and him.
But will the princess want to marry a simple miller's son, and one who was deprived of his inheritance by his late father? Of course not, so the Cat will first have to promote his master's image, turning him into a noble and rich Marquis of Carabas.
It is from this very mysterious Marquis of Carabas that the Cat comes to the royal palace and not empty-handed. The Cat presents all the gifts to the King not in his own name, but in the name of his fictitious master Carabas, who became more and more interesting to the King, until finally the King and his daughter the Princess wanted to personally meet this mysterious and very rich "marquis". And here the Cat was in for a disappointment, because, despite all his "wealth" and "title", his master remained the son of a simple miller and, in the opinion of the Princess, was also poorly brought up...

Про кота в сапогах, наверное больше всего фильмов и мультфильмов было снято в СССР. По крайней мере два фильма и два мультфильма это точно.
Замечательный фильм для детей всех поколений, особенно для нынешних. Теперь такого кино не снимают, а жаль
