Plot:
The action of the series "Five minutes of silence season 2 (Return)" takes place in our time. After completing an internship in Karelia, in the mountain search squad 42-21 under the leadership of Major Sergei Gireyev, Lieutenant Alexander Grek decides to stay here to serve further. Participation in many rescue operations of the squad, allowed yesterday's graduate to understand that his place is here on earth, and not in the high offices of the General Staff Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A real man's job, a friendly, close-knit team and, of course, a feeling of deep satisfaction that came every time he managed to save someone's life. Nevertheless, personal circumstances forced Grek to return to Moscow. His fiancée Lina was pregnant, and Alexander decided that this would be the case for their future child.

However, Grek is unable to stay at headquarters for long. After a conflict with a senior officer of the headquarters in the presence of the deputy minister, Alexander's service could have continued in any corner of the vast expanses of his homeland. And only thanks to the efforts of his uncle, the general, he is sent not to Novaya Zemlya, but to Karelia, to his already native mountain search detachment 42-21.
At this time, Gireyev began to have major problems at work. The local mayor, seeing Gireyev's intractability, tries to remove the principled and honest officer from the leadership of the detachment and put his own man in his place...
