The plot of the movie Seven Screams in the Ocean (movie 1986):
The movie takes place in the second half of the 20th century. The cruise liner "Spec" makes a voyage to the shores of South America. On the fourth day of the journey, on Christmas Eve, the captain of the ship gathers all the passengers of the 1st class in the cabin and tells them the stunning news that the coming night will be the last night of their lives....
Three days ago the captain had received a cipher announcing the outbreak of war, and the "Spec" was just entering the range of enemy submarines. In the morning a squadron was to pass here, and the captain of the "Spec" was ordered to divert the attention of the enemy submarines.
The captain breaks the news only to the 1st class passengers, as he believed they were somehow involved in the wars, while the 2nd and 3rd class passengers remained in ignorance and continued to happily celebrate Christmas.
Waiting for death, worse than death itself, so the captain, having told these all masters of life terrible news, wanted to see how they would behave in a critical situation ...
