One evening, a strange stranger entered the house where Kay and Gerda lived. He was a very rich and influential man, respected even by the king and appointed as his commercial adviser. The adviser made his fortune by selling ice, which he received in abundance from the Snow Queen.
In the summer, the Advisor sold ice, and in the winter, he decided to grow and sell flowers. Which were a great rarity at this time of year, just like ice in the summer.
And Kay and Gerda's grandmother had luxurious roses, which the Advisor wanted to immediately purchase for a lot of money.

There were various rumors about the Snow Queen. They said that she lived in a distant northern country and appeared in the city only in winter with the cold northern wind.

But Kay was not afraid of these stories, and promised that if the Snow Queen showed up in their house, he would sit her on the stove, where she would immediately melt. But as soon as he said this, the window suddenly swung open from a strong wind, and the Snow Queen herself appeared in the room.
She invited Kay to go with her to a distant country, where he would live in a luxurious castle with servants ready to immediately fulfill his every whim.
But Kay loved his grandmother and Gerda so much that he would exchange them for the Snow Queen's riches. Then she offered Kay to kiss her goodbye, and the trusting boy, not sensing a catch, agreed.
From that moment on, his heart turns to ice and becomes a different person: callous and cruel. It was no longer difficult for the Snow Queen to lure such a Kay to herself, and soon Kay disappeared with her, without even saying goodbye to his grandmother and Gerda.
Little Gerda hoped that Kay's heart would thaw in the spring and he would return home, but this did not happen. Then she decided to go looking for him herself, which turned into dangerous and funny adventures...
