Narrative:

Action of the film Istanbul transit takes place in the early 90s of the last century. At one of the railway stations in Kyiv, an employee of the linear police department is seriously wounded. The operational investigative group that arrived at the scene established that the attack on the policeman took place near an opened container from which the criminals stole goods, and he was probably trying to stop the crime.

This was not the first theft of goods at the station, and police colonel Petrovsky understood that an organized criminal group was operating here, which was well acquainted with the train schedule and the nature of the goods being transported. This meant that the gang had an informant - a station employee.

But this time the criminals made a big mistake, not only in that they attempted to kill a police officer, but also in that they robbed the wrong carriage. The bandits' target was a carriage with video equipment, which had been uncoupled due to a malfunction in Fastov, and instead they robbed a carriage with Turkish carpets, and a large consignment of heroin was hidden in the carpets.

It was a test purchase, with the help of which Interpol tried to track the entire chain of drug trafficking. The cargo was coming from Istanbul in transit through Ukraine to the countries of Western Europe, and a high-ranking official from the trade mission was responsible for its successful movement through the territory of Ukraine.

But His Majesty Chance intervened in the matter, which confused the cards: both for the international drug dealers and for the domestic bandits, who had no idea what to do with the happiness that had so unexpectedly fallen on their heads.

And the worst thing was for the Interpol employees, who had been preparing this operation for several years, and now, because of some thugs, everything could go down the drain. In order to save the situation, Colonel Petrovsky had to find the criminals within a few days and ensure that the transit cargo arrived at its destination on time...
