Narrative:

Fourth-grader Tolik Ryzhov finds a box of magic matches, and by breaking one of them, Tolik can fulfill any of his wishes. For example, that his mother would allow him to do whatever he wants, to become an excellent student and even win at hockey not only against older boys, but even against first-class masters.

And one day Tolik, on a dare, turns his friend Mishka Pavlov into the best violinist in the world. But Mishka was not very happy about this, because it was unfair and unjust to Lena, who spent all day practicing the violin and had not yet achieved any great results.

Then Tolik tells Mishka about the magic matches and even gives him one so that he can do something for himself, but Mishka uses the match to help a lost dog find its owner. Then Tolik gives him another match, and Mishka uses it again for a good deed.

But it turned out that all this time Tolik was being watched by the owner of the matches - an evil wizard who really didn't like that his matches were used not for personal pleasure, but for good deeds. For this he decides to punish his friends severely...
