Plot:

The action of the film "Retribution" takes place in modern times in America. In Boston, twenty-four-year-old Emma Craven, the daughter of police detective Thomas Craven, is murdered on the threshold of her own home.

According to the investigation, the motive for the murder was the official activities of her father, a detective, because every policeman has his enemies: apparently, the killer was aiming at Craven, but having missed, hit his daughter.

But Detective Craven, who was conducting a parallel investigation, came to a different conclusion. His daughter Emma, a nuclear physicist, worked for a private company engaged in nuclear research.

One day she learned that this company was actually engaged in the production of weapons. But these were not American nuclear weapons, they were produced according to technical standards and from materials of foreign countries, so that if they were used, the traces would lead not to America, but to another country...
