Plot:
The film Welcome to the Punch takes place in our time. The unconscious body of a young man with a bullet wound to the stomach is found at a London airport. The police identify the young man as Ruan Sterwund, son of the elusive and legendary robber Jacob Sterwund, using fingerprints.
Three years ago, Jacob almost fell into the hands of detective Max Lewinsky during a bank robbery, but managed to escape by shooting Max in the leg. Since then, he retired and lived in Iceland, and Max all this time could not understand why Sterwund did not finish him off then, because he had such a chance.
Now that Sterwund's son is in the hands of the police, Max has a chance to take revenge for what happened three years ago, but luring Sterwund into a trap turned out to be not so easy...
