Narrative:

The action of the movie Alpine ballad takes place at the end of the war in Germany. The Germans bring concentration camp inmates to a destroyed factory in the Alps from a night bombing in order to defuse unexploded bombs. But one of the bombs detonates and in the ensuing chaos and panic, several prisoners manage to escape.

Ivan, a Soviet soldier, manages to escape from pursuit and takes refuge in the mountains, where he meets an Italian girl, Giulia. She, as well as Ivan, managed to escape and now Ivan had to decide what to do next. At first Ivan decides that they should cross the pass, and then each will go his own way: he will go to the East to the front line, and the girl should go towards the Italian Trieste, to the local partisans.

But Julia refuses to leave Ivan and continues to follow him to the East. A journey filled with dangerous adventures, struggles, hardships and deprivations, hunger and thirst brings the yesterday's prisoners closer together, and during the three days they manage to spend together, they experience the most incredible thing that can be in these difficult conditions - love.

For a while it made them forget about the war, the chase and the danger that lurked them at every turn and lose their vigilance, and a loss of vigilance in war could lead to tragic consequences ...
