Plot:
The action of the film "Investigation Established" takes place in the early 80s in Riga. During a night shift, a police patrol notices a man in his hands, who was carrying a sports bag. The patrol decides to check his documents, but the man runs away and, escaping, jumps into the river.
And in the morning, detectives pulled out of the water the very bag that the man was carrying and found in it a large sum of money in the amount of ninety thousand rubles.
On the same day, operatives found the body of a woman, Lidiya Ivanovna Naidenova, who worked as a cook on the ship.
While the detectives did not assume that this murder was somehow connected with the night passerby and the abandoned bag with money, however, in addition to the money, there was a man's shirt with a tag from the laundry in the bag. And already from this tag, the investigation established that the shirt belonged to a certain Alik Zotov, who worked as a musician on the same ship as Naidenova.
Now it seemed that the criminal had been found and the case solved, but Zotov had an ironclad alibi...
