Narrative:

The action of the movie "The Ring from Amsterdam" takes place in the early 80s of the last century. The main character of the movie, Yuri Fastov, the navigator of the ship "Albatross" did not notice how he reached the line beyond which betrayal began.

It happened after meeting a certain Misha Sulikov, who introduced Fastov to a beautiful life. Girls, restaurants and finally, the money that Misha easily lent to buy a new car, and Yura finds himself on the hook with Misha without noticing it.

Now, in order to pay off his debt, Yura was forced to become an accomplice in Misha's criminal schemes to smuggle diamonds. And soon in Amsterdam, he falls into the hands of Western special services.

Blackmail, one of the best methods of recruiting agents, and the resident of foreign intelligence Gautman puts before Fastov a hard choice: either he agrees to cooperate with them, or information about his smuggling cases to the competent authorities in his home country.

There was not much choice, but there was one more way out: to go to the KGB and confess everything himself. This is exactly what Yura Fastov does, and from that moment, under the guidance of KGB officers, he begins to play a double game....
