Narrative:

The film "Komsomolsk" is set in 1932. Thousands of young people responded to the party's call and rushed to the Far East, where the construction of a new city called Komsomolsk, which was supposed to become an outpost for the defense of the country's eastern borders.

And the name of the city Komsomolsk was not chosen by chance, because the overwhelming majority of its builders were members of the Communist Youth Union - Komsomol. The Komsomol members also called their future creation the City of Youth.

Building a new city in the taiga forests turned out to be not at all an easy and romantic task, as it seemed while sitting at home in a warm apartment. After all, the Komsomol members had to live in tents, and work from morning to evening in the open air, in the snow, and in the rain, and in the summer heat, and in the winter cold.

Due to the shortage of women at the construction site, male specialists had to do secondary work: laundry, cooking, cleaning and washing dishes. Therefore, many, unable to withstand the difficulties, left Komsomolsk.

But those who were destined to remain, gritting their teeth, steadfastly endured all the hardships and deprivations of this truly great national construction project. Various production conflicts and quarrels often arose between the builders, which, in essence, were the result of different views or approaches to certain production processes.

But against the background of the fact that in the ranks of the Komsomolsk builders there were inveterate wreckers and saboteurs, it forced the Komsomol members to be more united and vigilant in order to identify the hardened enemies of socialism in time...
