Narrative:

The action of the series "Men's Work 2" takes place at the beginning of the 21st century. After a successful operation in Chechnya, Nikolai Rebrov ("Beeshnik") goes home to the Altai region, but disturbing events on the Afghan-Tajik border again bring the experienced intelligence officer back into action.

This time, the main international terrorist Al-Said is planning a grand operation to seize the nuclear power plant in Sosnovy Bor in the Leningrad region, which would allow the Islamists to blackmail not only Russia, but also the West.

The terrorists' ultimate goal was to create a powerful Islamic caliphate, which they planned to include Tajikistan, which was under Russia's protection.

Enormous amounts of money from drug sales were used to carry out this operation, and people connected to this underground business were involved in Russia itself and Tajikistan.

Al-Said's most important agents of influence in Russia were: government member Pavel Shakhov and businessman deputy Lev Ostrovsky. These were the people who were supposed to ensure the arrival of the international delegation of Greenpeace and the IAEA at the station.

As always, Al-Said entrusted the preparation of the military operation to seize the station to his best professional, Ruslan Agoev, call sign “Gyurza”, a former GRU major.

But before the operation, Ruslan fakes his own execution by Islamists and slips a video tape of his death to the Russian special services.
