Narrative:

The action of the series "Newbie" takes place in our time. In the small provincial town of Yurovsk, high school student Maxim Pletnev, who moved from Moscow a year ago, disappears. It was established that the last people to see Maxim were his classmates, with whom he was invited to the birthday of Sonya Ryabova, the daughter of the head of the local police department.

The new school psychologist Kirill tries to understand the situation with the teenager's disappearance.
