Narrative:

The film "Once Upon a Time 20 Years Later" takes place in the early 80s of the last century in Russia. Nadya Kruglova goes to Moscow for a class reunion organized on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of her graduation from school. As is customary at such meetings, people share their successes and achievements over the past 20 years, and Nadya could not come up with an answer to the question: "What has she achieved in these 20 years?"

Some of her classmates became academicians or poets. Some became talented engineers, and some died while carrying out a particularly important state assignment. But Nadya worked on the home front her entire life, because she was a mother, and not just a mother, but a heroine mother who raised ten children. And when the host asked her what she had achieved in these 20 years, Nadya answered modestly: "I am a mother."

At first, Nadya's classmates did not understand her, no one could believe that the class monitor and the brightest mind in the class had never worked anywhere and had not achieved any results in her work. But when Nadya's entire family came to school for her, the classmates present were taken aback, and then began to congratulate Nadya unanimously, because she really was a heroine and had achieved everything she dreamed of.

And when her former classmates asked her what Nadya now expects from life, she answered just as modestly: “I’m expecting a baby”...
