Narrative:

The action of the series "Ghost" takes place in our time. Since Soviet times, Professor Grishin on the order of ministries of defense is developing a special serum that can significantly increase the physical and psychological capabilities of soldiers.But in the late 90's the state stopped funding these developments and the program was curtailed.

Nevertheless, Grishin found private investors and secretly continued the development of the serum.To test the drug, the "Ghost" program was created, during which the test subjects, under the influence of Grishin's serum performed various tasks in a real environment. These were mostly contract murders committed by the professor's subjects on the orders of their investors.

The serum helped the tested fighters to forget not only what is fear or remorse, but even their past, in which remained some of their personal experiences. According to this, there should be no misfire in the performance of the task, but it happened...Once test subject Anton Sukharev (P.Priluchny) with the call sign "Ghost" was tasked to eliminate an influential businesswoman Vera Lurie.

He was to inject the woman with a special drug that would cause her a long and painful death.However, when the "Ghost" approached the woman, he saw that she was pregnant, and this circumstance stopped him. The only way this could happen was if the subject's personal experiences were associated with reality.
