Narrative:

The action of the series "Lost" takes place in our time. Police Lieutenant Colonel Zorin has earned the reputation of a real bison criminal investigation department, but recently he has been dogged by failures in his service. And after the victim dies during the arrest of a criminal, the management removes Zorin from operational work.

For further service, Zorin was sent to the department for the search for people, and now the clients of the former scourge of crime are the lost or "lost ones" and "runners", as the employees of this department called their charges. The volunteer search and rescue squad "Phoenix" also actively assists the police in searching for people, of which Zorin's son Pavel was a member, with whom the lieutenant colonel had not communicated for many years.

Zorin once abandoned his wife and son, and Pavel could not forgive his father for this act, but their joint work on searching for people gradually brings them closer together. After all, the disappearance of people was often connected with crime, and therefore a threat to the lives of those who were engaged in their search. Now Zorin and his son have to forget old grievances and cover for each other in various dangerous situations, and who can do this better than the people closest to each other...
