Narrative:
The action of the series "Sergeant" takes place in our time. The main character of the film Alexey is a sergeant, a platoon commander internal troops In the early 2000s, he served in the North Caucasus. One day, his platoon was ambushed by terrorists, as a result of which all of Alexei's fellow soldiers died.
The sergeant himself miraculously manages to stay alive, but after this incident he leaves the service, believing that responsibility for the death of his comrades lies solely with him. Many years later, Alexey works in Moscow as a window washer for high-rise buildings and one day while working he witnesses an attack on the office of some company.
As the sergeant later learned, this was the office of a firm of military experts investigating embezzlement in the area of military procurement. By chance, Alexey got his hands on a folder with documents, from which it followed that his platoon had not been killed in the North Caucasus due to his fault. The firm that was supplying the troops had supplied defective bulletproof vests, which was the reason for this tragedy...
