Narrative:
The plot of the film revolves around Hearts of Four Murasheva sisters. The younger sister, Alexandra, a student, recently met a young senior lieutenant of the Red Army, Pyotr Kolchin. This acquaintance touched a delicate chord in the soul of the romantically inclined Shura, and it seemed to her that she was a little in love.

At first glance, she seemed more practical than her younger sister and advised Shura to think about the upcoming exam at the university, and not about any kind of love nonsense. In addition, after the death of their father, Galina, as the older sister, helped their mother raise Shura.
That's why, when her sister left the house earlier than usual, Galina grabbed her bike and set off after her. She soon found out that Shura had gone not to the university, but to the Central Park of Culture and Recreation. Galina tried to see from afar who Shura was meeting, but in vain. Meanwhile, Alexandra met with Pyotr Kolchin.

Kolchin was interested in mathematics, so Shura gave him a book on mathematics, published under the editorship of her older sister. Having thanked Shura, Pyotr got on his motorcycle and went to work, but on the way he ran into a gaping girl on a bicycle, who recklessly rode out onto the roadway. Pyotr tries to help the girl, but she proudly and coldly rejects his help.
At this time, Shura, whose thoughts have recently been occupied with love affairs, fails her literature exam. In order to distract her sister from her love affairs, Galina is going to take her and her mother to a summer camp, where she will conduct mathematics classes in a sponsored military unit. Kolchin tries to visit Shura at home, but at the door of the apartment he runs into none other than the girl who recently got under his wheels.

Pyotr calls Shura on the phone and learns from her that she is planning to spend the summer at a summer camp. Kolchin immediately goes to Professor Ershov, Galina's superior, with a request to send Murashova to the unit where he serves. The professor readily agrees, and explains Kolchin's request as meaning that Pyotr is probably having an affair with Galina.
He shares his thoughts with his colleague, a young biologist Gleb Zavartsev. Gleb tried to court Galina, and even confessed his feelings to her, but she, arrogant and cold, rejected him.
Offended by this, Zavartsev also asks the professor to send him to the summer camp. Soon a group of MSU teachers arrived at the camp. The regiment commander instructs Kolchin to meet the group, and also assigns him to Galina Murasheva. Kolchin is surprised to learn that Galina is the same girl who recently got under the wheels of his motorcycle, and the one he met near Shura's apartment.
Galina also recognized Kolchin with displeasure. Certain that he had deliberately arranged for her to end up in his unit, she advised Pyotr not to seek meetings with her. But Pyotr pretended not to notice Galina and soon melted the heart of the cold beauty. Gleb and Shura, who were trying to get Pavel and Galina to come out, soon realized that they did not need it, because they were in love with each other...
