Plot The Treasure of the Ancient Temple (1983):
Industrialist Diwan Protap Singh decides to retire and hand over the family business to his eldest son Randhir. One day, he shows Randhir a cache of treasures hidden in the ruins of an ancient temple that his family has accumulated over five centuries.
His father wanted Randhir to make use of this wealth and start some business abroad. The high taxes in India could quickly wipe out five hundred years' worth of treasure.
However, Randir turned out to be a patriot of his country and did not want to change his principles even to please his father. Proud and honest, he refused his father's help and decided to develop his business on his own.
A few years had passed. Diwan Protap Singh again remembered his eldest son. Sensing his death approaching, he decided that it was time to hand over the business to his eldest son. After all, despite their differences, Randhir was capable of not only maintaining the family business but also increasing it.
While the younger son Ranjit led a life of idleness, losing millions in horse racing, the elder son worked hard. So Diwan Protap Singh could not allow Ranjit to be at the helm of their business.
After learning about his father's plans, Ranjit decides to frame his elder brother. By temporarily replacing him in the business, Ranjit starts an emergency mine. As a result of this adventure, several hundred miners are killed.
The authorities blame Randhir for everything, as he was officially the owner of the mine. Randhir receives a severe punishment of twenty years in prison for his younger brother's misdeeds. Ranjit becomes the head of the family business.
But things are going badly for him. He is mired in debt and credit. Ranjit realizes that only the secret family treasure can save him now, but before his father died, he gave the treasure map to his older brother....
