1996. American treasure hunters are trying to recover a cruise liner that sank in 1912. Titanica, a huge diamond called the "Heart of the Ocean".

A special deep-sea apparatus equipped with video cameras penetrated the sunken ship and, controlled by an operator located in the bathyscaphe, quickly found a safe in which, according to Brock Lovett, the diamond should be located.

But in the safe extracted from the seabed, there was no diamond. Only women's cosmetics and drawings depicting an unknown young girl, on whose neck was that same legendary diamond.

Since Lovett's expedition was being televised, these drawings were shown. Shortly after, a satellite phone rang on the ship. An elderly woman reported sensational news; she was depicted in these drawings. A helicopter immediately delivered the old woman to the ship.

Brock Lovett wanted to know about the fate of the "Heart of the Ocean". But the old lady disappointed the treasure hunters: the legendary diamond is not on the Titanic.

Seeing her things, 102-year-old Rose Dawson involuntarily returned to several happy days that then ended so tragically.

And the treasure hunters had to listen to an interesting story from the last living eyewitness of the legendary ship's wreck...

Rose Dewitt Bukater comes from a very old aristocratic family in England. But her father died, leaving her mother and daughter with huge debts.

And her mother, in order to somehow improve her greatly shaken financial situation, wants to marry Rose off to a rich American businessman, Caledon Hockley.

Rose does not like Kel, but she has to obey her mother. They go to America on the new, just built huge liner "Titanic".

Passengers on the Titanic traveled according to their social status. Rich and influential people traveled in first class cabins. These cabins were luxurious apartments consisting of several rooms. Benjamin Guggenheim, one of the richest men in America, was on his first voyage on the Titanic.

The poor traveled in small third-class cabins, and according to the rules established on the ship, third-class passengers were not even allowed to go on the first-class deck.

During the voyage, Rose meets a poor artist, Jack Dawson. Jack is a third-class passenger. He is very poor, and Jack even won his ticket for the Titanic in a card game. But this did not push Rose away, and soon a real feeling flares up between Rose and Jack.

But they were not destined to be together... Captain Smith regularly receives reports of icebergs along the ship's course. When entering the iceberg area, the captain tries to reduce the ship's speed. But the shipowner does not want to hear about reducing speed: the Titanic must arrive in the USA much earlier than scheduled, so that all the newspapers would write about it.

On the third day of its voyage, at 23:40, the Titanic collides with an iceberg. The officer on watch was unable to see the obstacle in time due to heavy fog. After examining the map of the holes, the ship's engineer reported that from that moment on, no action could save the ship, the unsinkable Titanic was doomed and would sink in a few hours...
