Narrative:
The action of the film "Earthquake" takes place in 1988. Architect Konstantin Berezhnoy, having served eight years for causing a fatal traffic accident, was returning home to his native Leninakan. There he was met by his wife with two children and his blood feud enemy Robert Melkonyan, who was thirsty for revenge for the death of his parents.
But Berezhnoy was not destined to see his family: at that very time, a terrible earthquake occurred in Armenia, which turned his native Leninakan into a pile of ruins. However, fate brought him together with Robert Melkonyan, with whom Konstantin was now brothers in misfortune.
In these first, most difficult days after the terrible tragedy, they together, shoulder to shoulder, provide assistance to rescuers and help to extract the girl Lilith from under the rubble of the destroyed building.
In a confrontation with the marauders, Konstantin is fatally stabbed and before his death tells Robert that he knows who he is and asks him to find his family...
The earthquake in Armenia in December 1988 released energy equal to ten atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima in 1945. More than 300 settlements were destroyed, 25 thousand people died, 19 thousand became disabled, and more than half a million people were left homeless…
