The plot of Truffaldino of Bergamo:
The film takes place in the 18th century in Italy. A noble lady from Turin, Beatrice Rasponi, disguised as a man, runs away from her hometown in search of her beloved Florindo Aretusi.
Florindo was accused of murdering Beatrice's brother Federico Rasponi and was forced to hide from the police. In order not to lead the detectives to Florindo's trail, Beatrice was forced to resort to such a masquerade.
While walking through the forest, Beatrice almost became a victim of robbers, but a young man, Truffaldino from the city of Bergamo, came to meet her in time.
Convinced that Truffaglino could be useful to her, Beatrice offers him to become her servant. And since the young man was as free as the wind, he gladly accepts this offer, not even suspecting that his new master is a woman.
In Venice, where Betrice arrived with her new servant, she had a lot of work to do. And Truffaldino, who was quite hungry, wandered around the city alone, wondering whether he should change his master. And soon he meets a young gentleman, whom Truffaldino helps carry his luggage to the hotel.
And then Truffaldino from Bergamo suddenly gets the idea that he can work as a servant for two masters at the same time and receive double the salary.
And although his owners lived in the same hotel and even in neighboring rooms, for a long time they had no idea that Truffaldino was working on two fronts.
