Plot:
On September 21, 1993, an internal political crisis broke out in Russia, which ended with the armed dispersal of the Congress of People's Deputies of the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation. This date, according to the authors of the film, was the end of the Great Criminal Revolution in Russia, which began in the last years of the USSR.
The democrats who came to power, led by Yeltsin, turned the once great space and nuclear power into a huge flea market. All the country's wealth flowed in an endless stream to the West and China, while the standard of living of the Russian people themselves fell with each passing day.
Commercial structures that appeared out of nowhere exported not only rare metals, but also strategic raw materials and even military-industrial complex products from the country. The army, police and other law enforcement agencies were demoralized and could no longer perform their functions to protect the state.
But the criminal world, which was actively raising its head, felt very comfortable in this atmosphere of complete chaos and disorder. Not wanting to remain on the sidelines of the theft of the huge pie in the form of state property, criminal structures take control of all profitable commercial and state enterprises. The country turns into a criminal-mafia state, where the leaders of criminal groups replace law enforcement agencies and even the executive power.
Does Russia have a future, and what is it? The authors of the film "The Great Criminal Revolution" ponder this. After all, a lot of time will pass and those thieves and bandits who robbed the country on an unprecedented scale will sit in the chairs of mayors, governors, deputies and ministers...

Странно, как автор фильма вопрошает откуда все это взялось в России. Типо до 1990 года были нормальные люди, а потом вдруг все испортились. Просто до 1990 года народ держали в тисках, а кода тиски ослабили — прорвало
