Plot:
The film "Afghanets 2" takes place in the early 90s. Ivan Koval, who was captured by Afghan mujahideen, after a few years he managed to escape and come to his homeland. But the country that sent him to war and for which he and his Afghan comrades shed blood no longer existed.
In its place was the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), whose countries now sharply condemned the war in Afghanistan, and whose Afghan soldiers were not destined to become national heroes in their new states.
But still, they were not completely forgotten, because the experience gained in the war was now needed for another war – a criminal one, which was waged throughout the territory of the former USSR.
So Ivan Koval, under the protection of his former commander, becomes a member of an organized crime group engaged in drug trafficking. But soon the former Afghan realized that the bandits were simply using him to set him up at the right moment...
