The plot of Tired of the Sun (1994 movie):
The movie takes place on a Sunday summer day in 1936. A legendary hero of the Civil War, a favorite of the Party and Comrade Stalin himself commander Sergei Kotov lives in a dacha near Moscow with his young wife Marusya, daughter Nadia and Marusya's numerous relatives in a friendly and happy way.
The family idyll was in full swing when, quite unexpectedly, Mitya appeared in the Kotovs' house. An old friend of the family and Marusya's former fiancé. During the Civil War Mitya had fought for the Whites, and after the Civil War he was forced to emigrate to the West.
But his longing for his homeland and Marusa forced him to return back to Russia. The new authorities, who took away from Mitya all his past life, accepted his former enemy, but with one condition. Mitya is offered to become an agent of the OGPU. An offer he couldn't refuse.

Now, in his new capacity, Mitya goes to the West again and succeeds well in his new job. Through Mitya's efforts, nine high-ranking members of the White Movement and ardent enemies of the revolution are returned to the country of the Soviets.
После успешной операции по ликвидации самых ярых внешних врагов революции, Митя был возвращен на Родину для набирающей обороты борьбы против внутренних врагов революции. Первым таким врагом, которого нужно было ликвидировать, был комдив Котов. Тот самый Котов, который в 1928 году ссучил Митю и заставил работать против своих же бывших товарищей-белогвардейцев…
