The plot of the movie Marry the captain:

The head of the border outpost, Captain Alexander Blinov, is heading on another vacation. At thirty years old, the captain has not yet started a family. And he mostly spent his vacation with his mother in the village, helping her with the housework.

Every year Sasha came to his mother and every time he was forced to listen to her lamentations that it was time for him to get married or at least get a girlfriend. But the outpost where he served was located far from the bustle of the city, and finding a bride there was extremely difficult.

Sasha also went to the village on vacation, and it seemed that there was no way out of the vicious circle. Probably, Blinov would have spent his next vacation as usual, if not for an accident. The wife of one of his colleagues sent a parcel through Blinov for her friend Elena Zhuravleva, who turned out to be his fellow countrywoman.

The capricious professor's daughter was already married and was in no hurry to start a serious relationship. Working as a photojournalist, she moved in the creative circles of the big city and it is quite possible that she would have found a groom from this circle. She had already accepted the courtship of one of the most famous photojournalists of the city, Lyadov. And it is quite possible that their romance could have developed into something more.

But then a man appeared on the threshold of her house who was not like the men who had surrounded her until now. A modest, honest, principled border guard captain who did not like to throw words to the wind. He was always ready to lend a shoulder, without demanding any reward in return...
