Narrative:

Action of the film Above the Rainbow takes place in the mid-80s of the last century in Odessa. The main character of the film is high school student Alik Raduga, a young poet who composes a poem about the magical city of Zurbagan, from the fairy tale by A. Green "Scarlet Sails".

Alik's parents are artists: his father is a composer, his mother is a choreographer, so young Alexander Raduga also decided to devote himself to art. Alik's favorite subject at school is literature, and his least favorite is physical education. Alik believes that he, as a future poet, does not need physical education at all.

Alik was especially difficult at high jumps, even the height for dystrophics, as the physical education teacher Irina Mikhailovna Butyrina said, was beyond the young poet. The mythological Siren made Alik change his attitude to sports. Rainbow, with the power of her image, frees her from captivity, and in gratitude, the Siren decides to help him, she will make it so that Alik will jump as high as he wishes.
