Narrative:
The action of the film "Letters of a Dead Man" takes place in the 21st century. As a result of a nuclear war, countries and cities are destroyed, and the people who survived this man-made apocalypse are forced to live in bomb shelters and basements.
Going outside was associated with a huge risk not only in the form of a dose of radiation, but also the presence of a curfew, because the patrol had permission to fire to kill violators. Soon, the authorities plan to move all healthy people to the central bunker, where they will be forced to live without the opportunity to go to the surface.
Since there were many more people wanting to get into the bunker than it could accommodate, the authorities initiated a medical examination, based on the results of which a healthy person was given a special pass, while the sick were prohibited from entering the bunker. Even children from the orphanage were not an exception, they were categorically refused a pass to the bunker.
The famous former scientist and Nobel Prize laureate Professor Larsen, who lost his son and wife in this war, voluntarily refuses to be evacuated to a bunker and decides to remain on the surface with his sick children...
