The plot of the movie Daring (movie 1971):

The movie takes place during the Great Patriotic War. In 1942, near Vinnitsa, the Germans built an underground bunker "Werewolf" (Werewolf) in the strictest secrecy. The bunker was built by Soviet prisoners of war, who were to be immediately destroyed upon completion of construction.

But two prisoners: Andrei Klimenko and Nikolai Belous miraculously manage to escape from the camp and hide at one of the railroad crossings, hoping soon to cross the front line and go to their own. The next day, however, a strange train with several passenger cars passes through the crossing. In the window of one of the cars Klimenko saw Hitler himself and now realized for whom the secret bunker near Vinnitsa was intended.

In this regard, the plans of Klimenko and Belous changed, and they decided not to fight their way to their own, but to stay in Vinnitsa, where by contacting local underground and partisans they could organize an assassination attempt on Hitler.

Realizing that the two of them will not be able to pull off such a complex operation as an assassination attempt on Hitler, Klimenko decides to send Belous across the front line for a contact. But on the road Belous dies, and the note, which passed through him Klimenko, falls into the hands of the Gestapo....
