Plot:

Действие фильма «Я следователь…» происходит в начале 70-х годов. На военно-грузинской дороге обнаружено тело мужчины с пулевым ранением в голову. На место происшествия выезжает следователь МВД Грузии капитан юстиции Георгий Микеладзе.

At the crime scene, the detective finds only a few butts of imported Kent cigarettes, and in the victim's pocket there is only a comb and a prescription. The driver of a passing bus noticed a Volga parked on the side of the road, probably the same one in which the criminal and his victim arrived.

But, despite all these meager evidences that the investigation had, Mikeladze made some conclusions that the criminal and the victim arrived at the scene of the incident in a light-colored Volga, then they got out of the car and talked for about twenty minutes, as evidenced by the cigarette butts found on the side of the road.

The victim probably knew the criminal well, since he stood with his back to him during the conversation. But what was the motive for the crime? The investigator could have found out by establishing the identity of the victim, but he had no documents with him. There was only a comb and a medical prescription, on which there was no name and an illegible seal of some hospital…
