Narrative:
The action of the film "Summer Impressions of Planet Z" takes place in the mid-80s of the last century. Physics teacher Alexey Pavlovich Mukhin and his best student Borya Kulikov conduct various experiments in the school laboratory every day after classes, which go beyond the usual school curriculum.
Often experiments with electricity ended with burnt fuses and the entire school being without power, but on this summer evening the entire district was without power. And it was not at all because of the experiments of two enthusiasts, because the fuses were intact.
The cause of the accident at the city substation was something that attracted the attention of not only electricians, police and firefighters, but also a local amateur detective - hairdresser Eduard Mikhailovich.
But none of them could explain such a strange phenomenon. But Mukhin and his student became unwitting witnesses of this "miracle".
The thing is that at the moment when the lights went out, Mukhin and Borya were surprised to find a child on their table who looked to be only a few months old. True, he could already repeat whole sentences, and his belly button was missing.
Based on this, Mukhin boldly assumed that this child was of extraterrestrial origin. And the next day, when the boy had grown up considerably, he himself confirmed this.
The inhabitants of Planet X, of which he was a representative, had achieved unprecedented success in science and technology, allowing them to explore deep space. However, they were incomprehensible to the feelings and emotions inherent to the inhabitants of Earth, such as joy, melancholy, love or hate.
To understand all this, they sent their observer to the earth, who was Mukhin and Boris’s guest.
Having learned this, Alexey Pavlovich and his student decide to help their brothers in mind. Summer holidays were just beginning at school, and Borya was supposed to go to a children's sports camp. And since the alien guest was now about the same age as Boris, Mukhin decides to send him along with him.
Having received the name Felix Schastlivtsev, he goes to a sports camp, where he not only gets unforgettable impressions of Planet Z, but also finds new friends with whom it was so hard to part...
