Plot of the film Scam, or running in place:
San Sanych Lyubomudrov is a business-oriented person, endowed with the ability to establish useful contacts and maintain his image in society. His main goal is to achieve success and create comfortable living conditions, while strictly following the law and avoiding unnecessary spending.
However, one day he decides to take a loan from a shady businessman to arrange a magnificent wedding for his daughter. At the very last moment, the daughter, who does not share his plans, refuses to marry, which puts Lyubomudrov in a difficult position.
At work, he faces disagreements with his new boss, who does not accept his life values. Despite frequent absences, he manages to cope with his responsibilities. However, finding himself in a difficult financial situation due to debts, he begins to realize the seriousness of his situation.
