Narrative:
The film takes place in the 60s of the last century. The main character of the film is an old acquaintance, known to viewers from the film "Carnival Night" Comrade Serafim Ivanovich Ogurtsov. Heading the House of Culture, Comrade Ogurtsov, against his will, manages to hold a fabulous carnival night, after which Serafim Ivanovich's career, if not went up steeply, then had a further continuation in management work.
He continued to head cultural centers, two sanatoriums, and then the management sent Ogurtsov to advanced training courses, after which he was appointed head of the park of culture and recreation.
True, the park itself did not exist yet, it had yet to be built, so from the first days of his post as its director, Ogurtsov set to work with all seriousness. Having such a track record and work experience, Comrade Ogurtsov was very warmly welcomed in his new team, but soon the old methods of work began to prevent Serafim Ivanovich from finding a common language with the youth, of whom his new team actually consisted.
The opening day of the park was approaching, and Comrade Ogurtsov, following his old habit, decided to turn the celebration into one big report on the victories and achievements of the work area entrusted to him. Then his young colleagues decided to amuse the crowd a little by playing a little prank on their overly serious boss…
