Narrative:

The action of the movie "The Recruiter" takes place in the early 90s of the last century. In Moscow arrives Oleg Zorov, a former Soviet pilot, whose plane was shot down during the war in the Middle East in the early 70's. Then there were long years of captivity, where twice Zorov almost died, and then Oleg was forced to seek political asylum in the United States.

For surrendering to captivity, in which Zorov fell into, being unconscious in his homeland he was waiting for a court martial and a harsh sentence, on this Oleg had no choice but to accept the proposal of American intelligence on cooperation.

Oleg arrived in the USSR under a different name as an employee of a commercial joint venture, but his main assignment was to recruit a major scientist Andrei Kamenev. However, having arrived in the USSR the recruiter, breaking the rules of conspiracy, meets his sister Olga, his former colleague Victor Gordeev and his favorite woman Zinaida Novikova.

These meetings with close people, made a revolution in Zorov's soul: he realized that he could no longer work against his country, and most importantly, that he wanted to stay in the homeland forever....
