Plot of the film Take Me With You (1989 film):
During her auditions at the theater, the aspiring actress Svetlana meets the young and talented director Nikolai. But instead of the stage, Nikolai offers Svetlana a job at the train stations. Here she had to play a naive provincial girl whose ticket and last money were stolen from her purse by a pickpocket.
At this moment, Nikolai appears as if by chance, who, under the guise of a sympathetic passerby, offers other passersby to help the unfortunate girl with a ticket. Thus, wheeling from one Moscow train station to another, the couple earned decent money in a day, significantly exceeding the average salary in the country.
The flow of thousands of passengers, changing almost every hour, practically excluded the possibility of falling into the nets of justice. However, one day, a merchant marine sailor Andrei, heading on vacation, became a witness to a touching scene. He also donated five rubles to the poor girl, and like other citizens, he was proud of his deed.
But then he goes to another station and, to his great surprise, sees the same scene. However, instead of calling the police, Andrey tries to shame the scammers, not realizing what dangerous adventures he is getting himself into…
