Narrative:

The action of the film "Ilyicha Outpost" takes place in the early 60s of the last century, during the so-called "Khrushchev Thaw". After the historical XXth Congress of the CPSU, who debunked Stalin's personality cult and exposed mass repressions, life in the country began to beckon.

Foreign films are no longer banned from showing, fashionable foreign clothes have begun to appear on store shelves, and young people dance boogie-woogie en masse. Young poets are especially popular: Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Andrey Voznesensky, Rimma Kazakova, Robert Rozhdestvensky, Mikhail Svetlov, Bella Akhmadulina, Bulat Okudzhava.

The poems of these poets are more about the eternal and spiritual. They no longer sing the praises of Soviet power and the socialist system, the party's policy and the most powerful army in the world.

The older generation, which had lived through the revolution and the war, saw this as a certain danger to the existing system, criticizing the youth for their frivolity and carelessness.

The main characters of the film are three bosom friends: Sergei Zhuravlev, Nikolai Fokin and Slava Kostikov, representatives of this new youth also do not think much about these complex questions of good and evil. They meet, drink beer, talk about women and football.

But youth is a disadvantage that quickly passes. Guys grow up and become smarter, and various life situations help them to understand all those issues that previously hardly interested them.

Each of them comes to the conclusion in a different way that what will remain sacred for them forever: friendship, revolution, war and soldiers. After all, almost each of them lost their father at the front…
