Plot of the film The Man from Boulevard des Capucines:
Having attended a film premiere on the Boulevard des Capucines, John Fest realized that cinema could change this world for the better. From then on, he decided to dedicate his life to cinema and write his name into its still very short history.
With this ambitious dream, Föst sets off on a journey across America. On his way, he encounters the small town of Santa Carolina, from which Föst decides to begin promoting cinematography.
So, before Furst arrived, the locals led a rather boring and ordinary life. While the women were busy with housework, the men spent their evenings aimlessly in the local saloon over a bottle of whiskey. Often, heated up by the alcohol they had drunk, they would start fights with the smashing of dishes and furniture.
This suited saloon owner Harry McEw just fine, as he was getting rich off these riots. After all, the cowboys paid double for every broken plate or stool.

But with the arrival of Mr. Fest in town, everything changed. His films turned brutal cowboys into real gentlemen. Instead of whiskey, they now drank milk, called each other "you" and didn't even swear.
Everyone benefited from this except the saloon owner Harry McEw, who suffered huge losses. After all, Mr. Fest was showing his films almost for free, and whiskey sales dropped to zero. While Harry was thinking about how to refuse to rent to Mr. Fest, a local pastor came to his aid.
The Holy Father was in love with the charming dancer Diana Little, but she preferred him to Fest.
So these two losers conspired to finish off Fest and signed the robber Black Jack to kill him. In addition to this danger, Fest was in a much more significant danger. Another man from the Boulevard des Capucines, Mr. Second, arrived in the city. He, like Fest, also understood the powerful force of cinematography, only in dollar terms...
