Plot of the film Needle (1988 film):

The film takes place in the USSR, during the late perestroika period. A young guy nicknamed Moro goes to Alma-Ata to visit his ex-girlfriend Dina.

However, to his great chagrin, Dina turned out to be a complete drug addict and had already begun selling off the property inherited from her wealthy father.

Moro also established that Dina was hooked on drugs by her direct superior, the head doctor Arthur, who was closely connected to the local drug mafia. Moro tries to help Dina get rid of her addiction, but everything is complicated by the fact that she was too weak in front of drugs, and Arthur did not try to make sure that the girl did not feel the need for them.

Moro understands that the only way to rid Dina of drugs is to get rid of Arthur, but behind Arthur were people who did not like those who stuck their noses into their affairs and were used to solving problems rather harshly and far from the framework of the right field...
