Narrative:

The action of the film "Faith, Hope, Love" takes place after the revolution in Russia. In a school organized by commune An orphan boy named Vanya studies, and a local teacher discovers that he has a talent for poetry. No one knew his last name, so they simply called him Beznamelyny.

With the beginning of the civil war, the school is forced to close, and the teacher becomes the commander of a partisan detachment. As a devoted student, Vanya is now always close to his teacher, but one day the teacher decides to send him to Moscow, to the magazine "Revolution and Poetry", which was headed by his old comrade, the proletarian poet Sokolov. And the teacher entrusts the accompaniment of the boy to an experienced Red Army soldier, Comrade Sorokin.

Sorokin and Vanya have to make their way across the entire country. Through a country in which a brutal fratricidal war was going on.

And so, finally, after all the terrible trials and adventures, they reached Moscow, but now it was no longer the same city that it had been several years ago. Now Moscow was a frontline city, and everyone who could hold a weapon was forced to stand up for its defense.

The magazine "Revolution and Poetry" closed down, and its editor, Comrade Sokolov, now became the commissar of the Red Army. Here in Moscow, Sorokin and Vanya, who had become very close friends during their difficult journey, had to part ways. Sokolov sent the boy to an orphanage, and Sorokin went back to the front to defend Moscow.
