Plot:
Action of the film Calculator take place in the future. 1000 years ago, the first settlers left Earth and organized the League of Free Worlds. Some got warm and sunny planets, some got deserted and swampy ones. One of these planets was the planet XT-59.
Despite the impassable swamps and gloomy clouds, HT-59 was considered habitable. The settlers managed to reclaim a piece of territory from the swamps and build a model city with order and prosperity on it. This order was ensured by a state system of total control, which protected the city from external influence, organized constant surveillance of citizens and strictly controlled the implementation of its orders.
But such a system could not but affect the rights and freedoms of citizens. For any slightest suspicion, a person could end up behind bars. The sentence was always severe - the death penalty. On the planet HT-59, it was carried out in a very humane way. Those sentenced to death were expelled from the city to impassable swamps.
They had a chance to save themselves by going through these swamps teeming with deadly creatures and reaching some islands of Happiness, which were legendary on HT-59. But no one managed to reach these islands: all those expelled from the city sooner or later died in the impassable swamps.
But in the last group of prisoners was the former presidential adviser Erwin Kann. A brilliant mathematician and calculator, he himself once created a system of total control, and when he realized all its danger and cruelty, he voluntarily resigned from his duties as presidential adviser, and then ended up in prison.
Erwin calculated the route to the Islands of Happiness with mathematical precision and decided to reach them at any cost. This was the only chance to save the city from the system of total control and free people from slavery...
